Roland is married, to Jane Boon-Aliredjo. Right now, we have one son, and his name
Mischa. We three
live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Jane's first love is Suriname, while she is
my first love.
Publications
One:
"Bifurcation in Fluid Flow near a Boundary Surface". It is totally
unreadable since it is a Ph.D. thesis. If you have trouble sleeping, mail me,
and I will send you a copy. Believe it or not, it is the tale of a young man who studied
the Creation, found no flaws, and reported that as a fact in Mathematical Formula's
that are supposed to read like pure poetry. Unfortunately, at the time of writing,
vi had no spell checking, so it took ages to write. ;-)

My middle initials are J and P. So my full name is Roland J.P. Boon.
These initials are short for Johannes and Petrus, after the first names of my
grandfathers; Opa Boon (Jan) and Opa Entius (Piet).
